"Delivery and Pricing from A1, Books Not as Advertised"
Aslan is pretty well organized and gets things to you fast. However, in this case, the books just don’t match what was described, and I wouldn’t have made the purchase if I had been aware.

Usually pretty reliable. I got an email saying the book(s) were sent out. But they didn’t show up even after a week. I tried calling them. Finally got to chat with someone who was really nice but a bit mixed up. They didn’t call me back, so I had to ring again the next day. One book was sent out, but just today! The other one is on backorder even though it was in a magazine. I had to really push for a delivery date, and it looks like that’s still up in the air! Might mess up my Christmas gift plans! Not feeling too confident since the ownership change! Just 24 hours after I wrote this, the second book showed up!! It was packed really well.

"Talking to a real person is a plus!"
Instead of the cold, impersonal online ordering, you can actually chat with someone. Typically, the stuff you buy shows up in about a week after you place your order.

"Frustrated with the delay from order to shipping"
I felt a bit let down by how long it took for my order to get shipped - I reckon it was nearly a week (check the order date below) and it only went out after I called to find out what was going on. The person I talked to was super helpful but couldn't figure out why there was a hold-up. Once it was sent, it got to me pretty fast (1st class mail - I was curious if that was due to the delay in processing my order?? Everything came in great shape.
